Apposite combines vendor products with AppositeLab application extensions and a Solution Partner sales & service enablement program that enables Solution Partners to provide their customers with access to new technologies at the earliest opportunity.
Founded in February, 2012, by an experienced software distribution channel team, Apposite is bringing a fresh approach to building the professional service, technical and commercial skills and knowledge needed by Solution Partners to successfully broaden their vendor product portfolio.
Leadership

Peter Woodward
CEO
Peter has a 30 year career in business software development, product innovation and development of partner programmes. From an early career with Chrysler, International Computers and BAT Stores, he founded Management Science in 1980 and oversaw the growth of the business with products including Inside Out & Vision, joined the leadership team of Lasata following the sale of Management Science and then served as Global Channels Director at Systems Union Group plc. More recently he helped Infor integrate and develop it’s global partner business, culminating in the launch of Infor’s IPN programme in 2011. Peter is a graduate of Loughborough University.

Paul Jelley
CFO
Paul is Chartered Accountant with 25 years experience at partner level, the last 5 with BDO. He has broad experience in providing detailed financial input, strategic thinking, challenge to management teams, sales and marketing strategies, team building and mentoring. Combined with extensive management experience, he brings a well rounded offering in his current advisory and non-exec roles.

Anders Nilsson
CTO
Anders has a Master of Science in computing from the Faculty of Engineering at Lunds University in Sweden 1989.In 1990 he started a company focused on administrative software and developed one of the most renowned tax-applications in Sweden. Between 1997 and 2002 Anders worked for Cyborg Systems Inc where he lead a development team responsible for the company’s new generation of HR software using modern OO and modularized design. In 2003 he started to work full time as consultant mostly in the role of architect, senior developer and mentor, helping customers with agile and test-driven development based on a multi-teared design on the Microsoft and Java platforms. Test driven design and following the so called SOLID principles is very important for Anders’s way of developing software where modern layered design, robustness and maintainability are key. Anders enjoys DIY at his family’s country cottage and at his home outside Stockholm. Five wood deckings so far!

Bill Russell
Solution Partner Account Director
Bill has enjoyed a variety of roles in the software development and distribution industry including direct sales, marketing and product management He has worked in a number of organisations from Software Vendors including IBM and Systems Union to a major UK solution partner. Most recently his wide ranging technical, commercial and communication skills have been focused on channel and business development management. Bill is an LTA qualified tennis coach and enjoys playing the saxaphone, clarinet and flute.

Keith Birch
Non-Executive Chairman
Keith has been Managing Director of the Touchstone Group since 1986 and is responsible for their growth and development as an IT group. Keith has overall responsibility for group operations and strategic direction and concentrates on driving acquisition strategy. Keith has overseen many initiatives in his 30-year tenure at Touchstone, including being the first UK Value Added software partner to IPO on a public market. The Group now has 3 principal business units (FMS (Infor), CRM (Microsoft) and Trust) and employs 120 staff operating from offices in London, Watford, Manchester, Jersey and Sydney. Before joining Touchstone, Keith spent 4 years in a small London firm of chartered accountants and prior to this qualified as a teacher. Keith lives in Hertfordshire with his wife and 3 children.
